Reginald Davis Johnson, FAIA is among the great master architects of the early 20th Century whose practice focused on grand estates of the Golde Age. While almost all of his work takes place in California, there are a few gems in other parts of the country. In company with other master architects of the time, Johnson is credited with defining what has become known as A California Architecture, a style that is firmly rooted in California history and tradition with hints of Spanish Andalusia influence.

He has spent countless hours documenting, studying, researching the work, family and events that influenced Johnson's life. With the support of many building owners, Robert is helping to build an archive of Johnson's work at the Huntington Library. In addition to his research, Robert is a saught after presenter on the work and life of Reginald Johnson.
